Modlinger was founded by designer Avigail Modlinger, who lives and works in Tel Aviv. Following her graduation from Shenkar's Department of Jewelry Design in 2014, Avigail showcased her creations at numerous art exhibitions, notably the Israeli Jewelry Biennale. In addition to her namesake label, Avigail shares her expertise by teaching goldsmithing at Shenkar College.

Avigail loves creating precious, small-scale objects, in which accuracy is essential and details are crucial. She sees jewels as a part of your body, your history, your future. She exclusively creates small objects of desire that express her passion. Her jewelry represents what’s missing in the world, yet essential for her world. She draws inspiration from mother nature, the ocean’s flow and force, along with its serenity and peace, the desert’s neverending landscape, its shapes, shades, and textures.
